Two men, no ages available, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after a reported fight at 3:32 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street downtown. They were lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A burglary was reported at 1:29 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Sierra Street in the Mendenhall Valley. No details were available.
Two tires on a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier were reported vandalized at 1:39 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.
At 7:14 a.m. Monday, several windows were reported vandalized in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.
At 8:29 a.m. Monday, a window was reported to have been vandalized, apparently broken by a snowball, in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive in the valley.
Police cited a 48-year-old man on a charge of failing to yield after an accident at 12:43 p.m. Sunday at the Douglas roundabout. The man was driving a Honda CRV that sustained an estimated $2,500 in damage. The other vehicle involved was a 2000 Jeep that sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage. It was driven by a 58-year-old man.
Damage was estimated at $1,000 to each of the two vehicles involved in an accident at 4:49 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of Auke Lake Way. The 1997 Dodge pickup was driven by a 52-year-old man. The 1993 Toyota was driven by a 19-year-old man.
Police cited a 19-year-old woman on a charge of failing to exercise due care after an accident at 4:55 p.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Loop Road and James Boulevard. She was driving a 1996 Kia that struck a 2003 Dodge Dakota in the rear. The Dakota, driven by a 16-year-old boy, sustained an estimated $500 in damage. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Kia.
At 11:54 a.m. Monday, a 1998 Chevrolet truck was reported to have slid off of Fish Creek Road on Douglas Island. Damage was estimated at $10,000. Police cited the driver, a 24-year-old man, on a charge of careless driving.
