Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Police arrested a man, 39, at 6:23 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

A woman reported at 1:05 p.m. Thursday from an undisclosed location in the Juneau area that some CDs, clothing and medication, valued at $385, were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

A woman reported at 2:59 p.m. Thursday from Mendenhall Mall Road the theft of her camouflage purse from her unlocked vehicle. Police have no leads or suspects.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

An unknown person scratched a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a key, causing $500 in damage to the vehicle. This was reported at 10 a.m. Thursday from an undisclosed location in the Juneau area.

Alcohol-related calls: 1.
