Lena Loop project is fuzzy thinking

Affordable housing is needed in Juneau. That's a given. Nevertheless, mindlessly repeating that need anytime a housing project comes up, without looking at the broader infrastructure needs of lower-income people, is pointless.

The Lena Loop project is five miles from the closest bus stop, and eight miles from grocery shopping. Why ever would anyone think for a moment that "affordable housing" should be placed at Lena Loop. That's fuzzy do-good thinking.
