Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Domestic violence:

• A 40-year-old-man was arrested on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway.


• A $160 black and silver flip-style cell phone was reported stolen at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 9:42 a.m. Wednesday, a 26-year-old man reported his $200 clear blue and purple cell phone had been stolen near the Imperial Billiards and Bar.

• At 5:28 p.m. Wednesday, a 48-year-old man reported his black Alpine faceplate had been stolen from his unlocked 1994 Chevrolet truck near Long Run Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 6:24 a.m. Wednesday, a 53-year-old woman reported her truck sustained $1,000 in damage after it was struck by a truck near Riverside Drive and Riverbend Elementary School.

• At 7:17 a.m. Wednesday, police learned that a 2002 red Subaru and a 2003 silver Subaru had collided near outbound Egan Drive and the Salmon Creek intersection. The amount of damage was unknown.

• At 8:49 a.m. Wednesday, police discovered a parked 1998 Ford pickup truck had been struck near West Willoughby Avenue by a 1993 Chevy van.

• At 10:47 a.m. Wednesday, police were notified that a 2004 Mini Cooper has been struck by an unknown vehicle near Vintage Boulevard.

• At 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, a 23-year-old man reported his 2001 Volkswagen Jetta had been damaged near Glacier Highway in Auke Bay.

• At 3:22 p.m. Wednesday, a 47-year-old woman reported her parked 2006 Toyota Matrix had been struck by an unknown vehicle near Salmon Creek Lane.

• At 6:43 p.m. Wednesday, police learned that an 18-year-old man had driven a 2003 Toyota into a 37-year-old man's 1995 Toyota near Riverside Drive and Division Street. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Domestic violence calls: 1.

• Alcohol-related calls: 0.
