Thanks to my chemo, infusion therapist

Posted: Sunday, March 22, 2009

Juneau was my home for most of my life and is still dear to my heart. I have friends and family living there, including my daughter and her family. Consequently, I do make a couple of trips a year to visit.

I have chemotherapy treatments on an ongoing basis and so have needed to avail myself of treatments at Juneau's Infusion Center at Bartlett Regional Hospital several times during my visits. I want to thank Tamara Simone-Collins, chemo and infusion therapist, for her high degree of professionalism and her caring manner.

For those of you needing chemotherapy, I highly recommend your local infusion center. It is wonderful to have the option for treatments in Juneau instead of spending weeks or months in Seattle. In addition, Tamara gives treatments to patients (under the direction of the patient's physician) for MS, Crohns Disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis and other ailments.

Thank you, Tamara. See you next trip.
