As co-coordinators of the Jambalaya and Jazz fundraiser on March 7 for cancer patient Donna Carroll-Noel, we would like to thank the following businesses, organizations and individuals who helped make the fundraiser a great success.

Thanks to Alaska Litho, for designing and printing the poster; and to Kimberly Andree, of the Juneau Empire, and Katie Spielberger, of the Capital City Weekly, for writing a news story about Donna and the fundraiser.

Thanks to Food Services of America, Sysco Food Service of Alaska, Alaska Glacier Seafoods, Breeze-In, Horst Seafoods, Rainbow Foods, Super Bear Supermarket, Jerry's Meats, Juanita's Coffee, Wal-Mart SuperCenter, Alaskan and Proud, Carrs Quality Center, Costco, Ian Fisk, Annette Smith, Gordon Taylor, Ed Grossman and Chapter D P.E.O. for donating food and drink for the dinner.

Thanks to Abby Laforce-Roha, of Abby's Kitchen and Catering, who donated her time and talent to prepare a bounteous and exceptionally good meal.

Thanks to Fleetstreet, who provided excellent jazz music during the dinner hour. Thanks to the Cathedral of the Nativity, for the use of St. Ann's Hall; the the United Fisherman of Alaska board members, who set up the tables; and to the Cathedral Knights of Columbus, who sponsored the event and washed all the dishes.

Thanks to the St. Paul Knights of Columbus, who donated the money from their February breakfast to Donna's benefit fund. Thanks to the many businesses and individuals who donated services or items for auction.

Special thanks to TEMSCO Helicopters, Era Helicopters, Orca Enterprises, Allen Marine Tours, Juneau Steamboat Co., BeautiControl, Rie Muñoz Gallery, Annie Kaill's and Juneau Jazz and Classics. Thanks to our auctioneer Lt. Commander Phillip Burgard, who did a great job of getting the auction items bid up.

Thanks to the many people who attended and bought the auction items. Thanks to our volunteer workers. Without you, we could not have done the event. Also, thanks to those people who could not attend but who donated money.

It was awesome to witness how people came together to support Donna. We met our goal. The money raised from the event will be enough to pay for Donna's Seattle housing while she is receiving treatment. Thank you for all your support.
