Pasta Express on Front Street downtown is closing its doors and the company will concentrate on its Mendenhall Valley restaurant, Pasta Garden.
"We would like to thank all the locals for patronizing this place," said manager Nora Juan. The restaurant resided at its location for almost five years, serving Filipino and Chinese dishes, as well as Italian, Greek and American meals.
Pasta Express' lease was set to end in May and the owners did not want to renew it, she added.
Some of the equipment owned by the landlord will remain on site, but Juan said she was not sure if plans are in place for another restaurant in the same location.
