Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School student B.G. Olmstead looks at the "values" wall prepared by the ethics and service class. Students in the ethics and service class at Yaakoosge Daakahidi Alternative High School participated in the first annual Anti-Slavery Day on Feb. 27. The class showed the award-winning documentary, "Slavery: A Global Investigation," at Resurrection Lutheran Church for other high school students and community members. They distributed a fact sheet gathered from Free the Slaves, a nonprofit organization working to end slavery worldwide.
