Unalakleet defeated Yakutat 66-56 Thursday at the Class 2A boys basketball tournament in Anchorage.

With the loss, the Eagles finished in sixth place.
After scoring just five points in the first quarter, Yakutat rallied as a team to put up 25 points in the second quarter, pushing the score to 34-30 in favor of Unalakleet.
Yakutat, however, couldn't stop Unalakleet's offense, which had four players in double figures. Unalakleet shot 58 percent from the field while Yakutat shot just 34 percent. Yakutat's Jack Klushkan scored 17 points to lead all scorers. Yakutat also had strong offensive performances from Stephen Adams, who scored 14 points, and Kyle Dierick, who put up 11 points.
Class 3A Girls
Monroe Catholic 45, Mount Edgecumbe 32
Monroe Catholic led 22-10 at halftime and didn't look back in the Class 3A opening game at University of Alaska Anchorage.
Melissa Rima led the Rams with 24 points.
For the Braves, Victoria Lopez and Florence Nukusuk scored eight points each.
Mount Edgecumbe will play at 11:20 a.m. today.

Petersburg 70, Bethel 29
Southeast Conference champion Petersburg routed Bethel on Thursday in the quarterfinals.

Eielson 81, Mount Edgecumbe 65
Charlie Hill poured in 22 points as Eielson defeated Mount Edgecumbe in the quarterfinals.
Colten Growden scored 14 points, Dwanye Fearon had 13 points, while Kyle McConnell and Travis Pew added 11 each for the Ravens.
John Clark led the Braves with 25 points, 14 rebounds and four blocked shots. Caleb McGraw had 18 points and Hugh Patotak scored nine points in defeat.
Mount Edgecumbe will face Barrow at 8 a.m. today.
