Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials and state troopers reported:


A man, 58, reported shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday that a dark blue Motorola cell phone had been stolen from his parked vehicle on Fritz Cove Road on March 21. The value of the cell phone was $400.


Police arrested a boy, 18, about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Alaskan & Proud market on Willoughby Avenue for concealment of merchandise. He was cited and released.

Vehicle accidents:

A girl, 17, reported about 1:15 p.m. Thursday from the Juneau-Douglas High School parking lot that her 2000 Dodge Neon had been backed into by a 2000 Dodge Durango operated by a man, 19. The Neon sustained $2,000 damage. The Dodge had $500 damage. There were no injuries, and no citations.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles about 8:15 p.m. Thursday on Egan Drive inbound at 10th Street. A 1990 black Jeep Cherokee, operated by a boy, 16, failed to stop for a red light. His vehicle sustained $6,000 damage, and he was cited for failure to stop. His vehicle collided broadside with a 1993 Ford Aerostar van operated by a girl, 18. The Aerostar sustained $4,000 damage. There were no injuries.

Minor consuming:

Officers responded about 7:30 a.m. Thursday to a report of people sleeping in a car at Cedar Park. They cited a boy, 16, in the car for underage drinking. His mother was notified. At her request he was taken to Cornerstone House.


Police responded to a report about 1 a.m. Friday of a disturbance at the Alaskan Hotel. An intoxicated man, 26, was arrested on two counts of disorderly conduct. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest and with assault on an officer. He was lodged at state prison.
