Due to a reporter's error, the size of the Alaska Permanent Fund was incorrectly given in a Thursday Empire article. The fund is now worth about $27 billion, not $27 million.

Due to a reporter's error, an article in Thursday's Empire incorrectly stated the number of businesses checked for whether they sell tobacco to minors. The state program checked 400 to 500 stores, not 70.
