Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drug incident:
Police questioned a boy 16, on a tobacco violation at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday behind the 8700 block of Glacier Highway near the airport and ended up charging him with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, allegedly involving drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. The boy was released to his father at home.
Theft:
At 1:31 p.m. Tuesday, a red children's bicycle a combination DVD player and videocassette recorder were reported stolen from a 1988 Honda Accord the previous night in the 4000 block of Granite Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The items were valued at $1,260.
A vehicle alternator was reported stolen at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday from a 1988 Ford truck that was parked in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. The automotive part was valued at $200.
At 4:24 p.m. Tuesday, about $525 worth of heating fuel was reported to have been stolen from the 9000 block of North Douglas Highway.
A digital music player containing 381 songs was reported stolen at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 9200 block of Hurlock Avenue near the airport.
A 1979 flatbed Ford truck was reported at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday to have been entered while parked in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road and moved to a different location. Damage to the vehicle was reported at $570.
A red 15-speed mountain bike was reported stolen at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday from the 1600 block of Douglas Highway, where it reportedly had been left unlocked.
A stainless steel wrist watch was reported stolen at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday from the 200 block of Front Street.
Vandalism:
Damage estimated at $200 was reported at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday to a mausoleum on Riverside Drive in the Valley.
Lost property:
A diaper bag containing a nylon purse and about $170 was reported missing at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday from the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.
