Juneau resident Thomas (Tom) R. Fallis Sr., 66, died March 9, 2005, in Federal Way, Wash.
He was born July 11, 1938, in Paris, Ky. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1964. He moved with his family in 1964 to Juneau. He operated and owned various mobile home parks and sales businesses. He served as a director of Washington State Bank until his death.
His family said he was happiest being with friends, having cocktails, teasing the girls and exercising his sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Hudson Fallis, and his brother, John William Fallis.
He is survived by his mother, Lona Marie Fallis; sister, Mary DeRemer of Augusta, Ga.; his children, Traci Walker of Juneau, John Fallis of Las Vegas, Tom Fallis Jr., Alicia Fallis and William Fallis of Sumner, Wash.; and a dozen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. March 28, at the Juneau Moose Lodge.
