Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Eric Groover, 37, on a charge of drunken driving at 1:04 a.m. Thursday on outbound Egan Drive at the retaining wall. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police cited two men, 36 and 38, on charges of disorderly conduct at 10:59 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Glacier Avenue.


• An electric wheelchair battery was reported stolen at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday outside of an apartment in the 8600 block of Teal Street near the airport.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman, 53, was treated at Bartlett Regional Hospital for injuries after an accident at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday on Glacier Highway and Fritz Cove Road. The woman was driving a 2001 Mazda that was struck by a 1999 Ford Explorer.

• Police cited a man, 63, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive at Sunny Point. The man was driving at 1999 GMC involved in an accident with a 2004 Ford.

Hit and run:

• At 12:13 p.m. Wednesday, the passenger door of a Chevrolet pickup was reported caved in from being hit by an unknown vehicle in the Juneau area.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported in a yard in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

Calls related to alcohol: 1.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
