Relay kickoff to be held Saturday

Plans are underway for this year's Relay For Life. This year's theme is "Bring Hope to Find the Cure." The event runs from 4 p.m. on July 16 to 8 a.m. on July 17 at the Riverbend Elementary School-Dimond Park area.
The kickoff for this year's Relay For Life is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Nugget Mall. The public is invited to talk to organizers, sign up as a team, become a volunteer or learn more about the event. For more information, contact Pat Yearty at 586-4900 or Rowena Reeves at 789-7669.
Relay For Life is a team-based, overnight celebration that is the American Cancer Society's largest fund-raiser of the year. Participants are needed to walk, form teams, volunteer or attend the event.
