Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts, lost and found items:

Shortly after 9 a.m. Monday, a man, 19, was cited and released for concealment of merchandise at Super Bear market. Another man, 23, was arrested there for theft and transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center where bail was set at $250 cash.

About 10 a.m. Monday, a woman, 19, reported about 50 compact discs in two CD cases stolen from her locked vehicle parked on West 12th Street.

About 11:30 a.m. Monday, a man, 43, reported a rocking chair with woven rope back and seat stolen from his front porch on Meander Way over the last two days. The chair was valued at $150.

About 2 p.m. Monday, a man, 23, was arrested in the Lemon Creek area for theft. The stolen property was returned to its owner.

About 3:30 p.m. Monday, a found Nokia cell phone picked up on South Franklin Street was placed into safekeeping at JPD.


Capital City Fire & Rescue responded at 6:30 p.m. Monday to a car fire on Nowell Avenue in Douglas. The engine was fully involved when firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire seemed to be a broken starter. There were no injuries.

Underage drinking:

About 2:30 a.m. today, a man, 28, was arrested at the Skaters Cabin on Mendenhall Lake for contributing to the delinquency of and furnishing alcohol to a minor. Two girls, 14 and 16, and two men, both 19, were cited for minor consuming of alcohol.

About 6 a.m. today, a woman, 19, was arrested in the Lemon Creek area for disorderly conduct, domestic violence criminal mischief and minor consuming of alcohol. A man, 19, was cited for minor operating after consuming and driving with a non-comply/test status and released.


Capital City Fire & Rescue responded about 3 p.m. Monday to a report that a boy, 11, had fallen out of a tree in the Switzer Creek area. The boy was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital, where he was treated for contusion and possible sprain of the left hip. He was discharged home in good condition an hour after arrival.

About 5:30 p.m. Monday, a man, 31, was cited on North Franklin Street for furnishing alcohol to a minor. Two other men, 47 and 48 years old, were cited for open alcohol containers. And a man, 19, was cited for minor consuming. All were released at the scene.

About 8 p.m. Monday, four men (28, 19, 25 and 29 years old) were cited on Willoughby Avenue for open alcohol containers and released.
