Sunday's question: In the days leading up to the 1953 tournament, the previous two championship teams were forced to withdraw. Name the squads and the circumstance that prevented them from playing.

Sunday's answer: Ketchikan (the 1950 and 1952 champ) and Metlakatla (the 1951 victor) decided not to play due to the polio scare in their area. No one correctly answered.

Today's question: In the first year of the Legendary C bracket, this 73-year-old man sank a 12-foot loft-shot from between his knees. Who was he, and what team was he playing for?
