Consulting company office leaves Juneau

JUNEAU - The Alaska Funding Exchange has moved its main office from Juneau to Fairbanks, though the Juneau office will stay open.

The company consults for nonprofits and helps them write grants. It also offers community planning services.

The exchange also has installed a new president and CEO, Sharon Charnell Gherman. Gherman has been nationally recognized for her innovations in program development and implementation, according to the exchange. Cynthia Adams, president of AFE since its 1991 birth, will become a senior consultant. Adams is the president and CEO of GrantStation, AFE's sister company.
