HoopTime Basketball's inaugural Bill Tompkins Memorial 3-Man Jam -- This three-on-three tournament is for players in grades 5-12 and takes place, Monday through Friday, March 25-29, at the National Guard Armory in Juneau. Sports card trading show -- This month's trading show takes place from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, at Collector's Hideaway, which is near Alaskan and Proud Foodland grocery. Local collectors Darin Chapman and Curtis Sparks will be showing rare cards they recently pulled. Free drawings will also take place. Scuba and Outdoor Recreation equipment flea market -- This flea market, which benefits Southeast Aquatic Safety (SEAS, Juneau's volunteer dive-rescue team), takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at 8345 Old Dairy Road, near Fred Meyer. People can bring in their unwanted scuba gear, camping gear, kayaks, rafts, water skis, bikes, skates, four-wheelers, fishing gear, jet skis and other equipment between noon and 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5. Juneau 4-H Nordic Ski program -- The club skis from 1:30-3 p.m. every Sunday starting in January. Membership is $6 to join 4-H, plus club ski rental is $20 for the season. Students renting skis are expected to attend at least 80 percent of the club ski outings. Parents are encouraged to participate, but they must provide their own skis.
