Snow report

Eaglecrest Ski Area on Saturday reported 135 inches of snow on top, and 32 inches at the base. The groomed corduroy is smooth - off piste is soft and buttery with heavy snow, the ski area said.

Runs groomed for Saturday were Easy Bowl, Williwaw, Inside Passage, Cheechako, Mother Lode, Super G, Hilary's, Ego, Logjam, runout for Raven, Upper Sneaky, Sneaky, Trickster, Sourdough, Muskeg, and Dolly Varden.

The Upper Hilda/Troy loops and the outer perimeter of the Lower Meadow trail was trackset Saturday for classic and skate skiing.

There are some spring obstacles appearing on the lower loop. The Upper Nordic Loop has a lot of snow.

The Juneau Nordic Ski Club reported Saturday thatthe Mendenhall campground is mostly gravel. The snow on the lake has melted off but the ice is thick.

The Dredge Lakes area is mostly gravel.
