The American Red Cross and Project Playground are teaming up to encourage community members to take a first aid/CPR class and volunteer to help build the Playground at Twin Lakes on May 15-19 and 22-26.
Project Playground needs 30 people certified in first aid to man a first aid station during the construction dates. Persons interested should call the American Red Cross and mention Project Playground. A Project Playground committee member will contact them to set up a time for them to volunteer during construction. Volunteers will receive a discount on their first aid/CPR class.
Classes are scheduled for this Thursday, April 7, 19 and 28, and May 12. For more information, contact Shad Engkilterra, American Red Cross, at 463-5713 or Catherine Pusich, Project Playground, at 780-4525.
