Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Brendan Kelly, 48, was arrested for drunken driving at 7:52 p.m. Saturday near Fritz Cove Road. He was also charged with two counts of reckless endangerment. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.

• Brandon Bowhay, 23, was arrested for drunken driving and reckless endangerment at 3:15 a.m. Sunday near the outbound Egan Drive retaining wall.

Animal sightings:

• Bears were reported Saturday at 9:55 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, and at 10:38 p.m. on a porch near Glacier Highway

Vehicle accidents:

• A man, 26, was cited for failing to maintain a safe distance at 1:28 p.m. Saturday near Egan Drive and Tenth Street after driving his Ford Thunderbird into a Subaru Legacy.

Domestic dispute:

• A man, 34, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 2:54 a.m. Sunday near Amalga Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 6:13 p.m. near Hurlock Avenue, a boy, 15, reported that his blue and silver Shockwave compact disc player and a black case with 30 CDs had been stolen near Hurlock Avenue.

• A man, 38, was arrested at 6:13 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway for larceny and two outstanding warrants. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 28, was cited for theft of services at 2:22 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway.


• A woman, 49, reported at 9:02 a.m. Sunday that her home, near Martin Way, had been vandalized. There was no permanent damage.
