Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Domestic violence:

• A 42-year-old man was arrested for domestic-violence assault at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A 22-year-old nonresident was arrested at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 8800 block of Glendale Street for domestic-violence assault and criminal mischief. He was lodged at the state prison.

Disorderly conduct:

• A 41-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. She was released.


• At 9:03 a.m. Tuesday, a 42-year-old man reported his blue 1995 Ford truck had been vandalized in the 1000 block of Second Street.


• A 34-year-old woman reported at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday that her $1,500 hand-carved willow cane had been stolen in the 2900 block of Riverside Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, a 34-year-old woman reported her Toyota Corolla was struck by an unknown vehicle somewhere in the Juneau area. The passenger-side rear quarter panel sustained more than $500 in damage.

• At 9:16 a.m. Tuesday, a 56-year-old man reported his parked 1992 Ford Taurus had been struck by another vehicle while parked in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. The Taurus sustained $4,111 in damage to its rear.

• At 11:36 a.m. Tuesday, a 26-year-old woman reported her 2005 Dodge Neon had been struck while parked in the Juneau area. The Neon sustained more than $500 in damage.

• At 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, police learned that a 2000 Chevy and a 2003 Mazda had been involved in an accident near Egan Drive and Mendenhall Loop Road. The Chevy sustained $1,500 in damage and the Mazda $3,500 in damage.
