Petersburg's Jen Thomassen scored 25 points to lead her team to a 65-41 victory over Sitka in the Juneau Lions Club Gold Medal Tournament women's bracket elimination game on Wednesday.

Mandie Whitethorn had 14 points, Tammy Strickland added 13 points and Britni Birchill scored 11 points for Petersburg. Petersburg led 33-20 at the half.
Sitka's Brianne Erickson led her team with 15 points. Michelle Martin had 10 points, Miranda Whitson tallied seven points and Denise Berkeley chipped in six points in the win.
Klawock 77, Yakutat 61
Klawock stayed alive in the Masters bracket with a 16-point win in a loser's bracket contest.
Norm Skan scored a game-high 23 points while Willis Cavanaugh and Remond Henderson poured in 16 points each for Klawock.
John Garvey added eight points and David Edenshaw scored seven points for Klawock.
John Jensen led Yakutat with 18 points. Tom Faverty scored 17 points, Matt Wheeler contributed 14 points and Greg Indreland tallied 10 points in the loss.
Klawock led 39-35 at halftime.
LEGENDARY C BRACKET
Juneau Delta 79, Southeast Warriors 57
Sean Joslyn scored a game-high 18 points to keep Juneau Delta alive in the Legendary C Bracket.
Al Tagaban chipped in 13 points, Ongo Tupou had 12 points, Todd Cochran added 11 points and Yuri Martin scored 10 points in the win.
Stu Mills led the Warriors with 15 points and Bret Schmige had 12 in the loss.

LEGENDARY C BRACKET
Hoonah 79, Klukwan Chilkats 67
Hoonah moved on past Klukwan as Showalter Martin scored 26 points in an elimination game.
Andy Savland and Lance Geise had 10 points each in the win. Louie White scored nine points and Garvin Martin had 14 points for Hoonah.
Guy Tompkins and Steve Fossman scored 17 points each for the Chilkats. Chris Wassman had 15 points while Frank Tompkins and Scott Nash added six points each in defeat.
MIGHTY B BRACKET
Angoon 99, Hoonah 86
Angoon had three players score in double figures to eliminate Hoonah from the Mighty B Bracket.
Stan Johnson poured in 24 points, Curtis Lane scored 22 points and Clayton Edwin added 21 points for Angoon. Jason Frank had eight points, Levi Johnson tallied six points and Walter Kookesh chipped in four points in the win.
Mike Schneeberger led Hoonah with 28 points.
Dustin Bowen had 17 points, Travis Dybdahl tallied 11 points while Albert Hinchman and James Wilson scored eight points each in defeat.
