ANCHORAGE - The body of a man has been found in a trash bin at Anchorage's largest mall.
The body was discovered by a waste hauler, who noticed it as the trash bin was being loaded into the truck Friday morning.
Police say according to video from the Dimond Center security cameras, a man was seen around the trash bin area about 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police say he was likely homeless and crawled inside the bin, and may have been crushed by the compactor.
Police do not suspect foul play. The victim's name has not been released.
