83-year-old man dies in Anchorage trailer fire

ANCHORAGE - An 83-year-old has died in a trailer fire in South Anchorage.

Anchorage police have identified the victim as 83-year-old Claud Robinson.

Deputy Anchorage Fire Chief Michelle Weston says the trailer home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived just before 5 a.m. Friday.

It took 90 minutes to extinguish the fire. Weston says Robinson's body was found when firefighters were able to enter the structure.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
