Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
State troopers reported Monday that they arrested an Angoon man, 26, on an assault charge related to domestic violence at 4:03 p.m. Saturday. Troopers lodged the man at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. They allege he punched a woman in the face three times Friday night, causing a broken nose and other facial fractures. The woman was flown to Juneau to be treated for her injuries.
At 12:20 p.m. Sunday, a woman reported the theft of 70 gallons of heating oil from a Glacier Highway address in Lemon Creek. The oil was worth $120.
At 1:29 p.m. Sunday, a man reported the theft of two rings from a Linda Avenue address in the Mendenhall Valley. The rings were worth $1,100.
At 8:58 p.m. Sunday, a man reported $2 in quarters and a small flashlight, valued at $5, taken from an unlocked Mazda while it was parked near Autumn Court in the Mendenhall Valley.
Police arrested a man, 32, on a charge of larceny at 11:15 p.m. Sunday near Renninger Street in the Lemon Creek area.
At 8:08 a.m. Monday, a woman reported that sometime during the last week two bicycles were stolen from her fenced yard near D Street in Douglas.
A man reported at 10:51 a.m. Monday that his wallet was stolen near South Franklin Street.
Police cited the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck on a charge of driving with an unsecured load after a couch fell out of the bed and did $3,000 damage to a 1998 Ford van at 4:24 p.m. Sunday on inbound Egan Drive at Channel Drive. No injuries were reported.
Police arrested a man, 39, on a charge of disorderly conduct at 9:43 p.m. Sunday near Shell Simmons Drive near the airport. They lodged him at the state prison.
A bear was reported at 2:22 a.m. Monday dragging trash from a residence near Churchill Way in the Lemon Creek area. Police issued a citation to residents they say improperly stored their waste.
A man reported losing a black polyester jacket valued at $35 and a black polyester wallet valued at $5 at 4:24 p.m. Sunday somewhere in Juneau.
An Anchorage woman reported losing her black leather wallet at 5:08 p.m. Sunday, somewhere in Juneau. She valued it at $15 and reported it contained identification and an undisclosed amount of cash.
