Her classroom teacher, Nina Massey, says: "Kyra is an incredibly creative and talented student. She always comes up with fantastic original ideas for class assignments. She embellishes her spelling test each week with an original icon for each word. She can draw realistically whatever she sees. She can even imagine a change in position for a person or animal and draw it correctloy from her head! Kyra is always interested in new techniques and willingly tries new methods and styles. She always comes up with an original way or working with whatever media or design technique we are trying. She keeps a sketch book in her desk, and practices drawing animals, her favorite subject, whenever she can."
