JUNEAU - The Challenger Learning Center of Alaska is offering residential and non-residential summer camps for kids entering 1st through 12th grades.
Campers stay on-site in "space dorms" during residential camps and participate in hands-on activities, including rocketry, robotics, aviation, solar astronomy, navigation, scuba and team building. A shuttle is available for Anchorage campers. Non-residential campers participate in many of the same activities but go home each day.
The summer camps are accredited by the American Camp Association. See www.akchallenger.org or call 907-283-2000.
