Seen from a U.S. Coast Guard Jayhawk helicopter circling, Garland Teich, 69, waits on the deck of the state ferry Kennicott on Wednesday morning, to be flown away for emergency medical treatment. The ferry was 65 miles northwest of Cape Spencer, the southwestern point of Glacier Bay National Park.
