Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Don Brandon, 51, on a charge of drunken driving at 1:29 a.m. Thursday on outbound Egan Drive near Salmon Creek. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Roderick Parafitt, 50, on a charge of drunken driving at 11:26 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street downtown. Additionally, they charged him with reckless endangerment. Police transported him to the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Underage drinking:

• Police arrested a man, 20, on a charge of driving after underage drinking and an additional charge of underage drinking at 1:42 a.m. Thursday in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway near the airport. They released him and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• About 200 gallons of heating oil, worth $480, was reported stolen at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The heating oil reportedly was stolen sometime within the last month.

• A fishing reel was reported stolen from luggage at 10:22 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.


• A door was found open to a residence at 11:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 17000 block of Towers Road. Officers reported that it appeared the door was forced open but nothing appeared to have been taken from the residence.

Hit and run:

• At 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, a Chrysler LeBaron convertible reportedly struck a 1993 Ford Fiesta at Valley Boulevard and Diane Road. The Chrysler reportedly left the scene before exchanging information.
