Performance reviews are often a dreaded part of the job, but many workers find the information reviews provide as a way to gain perspective. However, a mere 49 percent of U.S. workers believe their managers take performance reviews seriously, according to a survey by Adecco Staffing North America. Additionally, 44 percent of respondents said they received constructive criticism, while 47 percent believed the performance-review process would be better if they could review their manager as well.
