Thanks for grooming Spaulding Meadows

I want to thank the Juneau Snowmachine club and the Juneau Nordic ski club for the grooming of Spaulding Meadows on the weekend of March 15 and 16.

On the March 16, the snowmachine club transported Nordic skiers to the groomed area of Spaulding Meadows. The conditions were challenging with wind, snow and low visibility but, the club members kept track of the skiers and made sure everyone made it down safely. Special thanks to Ray Howard of the JSC and Ray Imel of the JNSC for the coordination of this event. I hope that this will be repeated.
