JUNEAU - Guest teachers Steve Emmerman and Talya Ring, two senior Forrest Yoga Teachers, will be in Juneau to offer a weekend workshop "Nourishing Your Spirit," April 31 through May 2.
The workshop includes a Friday evening class from 5:30-8 p.m., two Saturday classes from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m., and a Sunday afternoon class from 1-4 p.m. All classes will be held at Temple Sukkhot Shalom, 211 Cordova Street. Cost for the entire workshop is $140 before April 12, and $150 after.
Emmerman and Ring are the directors of Turbodog Spirit Center, a nonprofit yoga community based in Chicago.
Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility. It only requires that you bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.
