Southeast Roadrunners -- Glacier 10K Run: Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Mendenhall Glacier parking lot, race starts 10 a.m. Courses are one mile and 10 kilometers. The 10K race is certified, flat and fast. Juneau Alpine Club -- Benjamin Island Sea Lion Visit: This is a one-mile, three- or four-hour, low-energy output trip. Use your own kayak or boat, or arrange for a boat ride with the Turleys. Raincountry Flyfishers flytying course -- A four-week class on tying flies for fish in Juneau waters. Meets from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 10, 17 and 24, at Floyd Dryden Middle School library. Juneau 4-H running club -- Registration for a new youth running club will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School Commons. The club is for runners in grades K-5 and will meet every Thursday through July 5 from 5-6 p.m. at locations to be announced. The club will have a final run on Saturday, July 7, during the Governor's Cup fun run. Local runners John and Jamie Bursell will lead the club, and volunteer coaches are welcome. Call the Bursells at 789-5997 to find out about the 4-H screening procedure. If there is interest for a middle school running club, contact the University of Alaska Cooperative Extension Service. Juneau-Douglas High School Dance-Drill Team Clinic -- This is the annual clinic for girls ages Kindergarten on up, and boys sixth grade and older. Cost is $30. Meet from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, at the Juneau-Douglas High School main gym for second graders and older. Open Gyms
