Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A man, 28, reported at 12:30 a.m. Friday from Franklin Street that he was assaulted after being asked for money.


• A man, 63, was cited at 7:45 a.m. Friday near Egan Drive on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was released.

• A man, 30, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Front Street on a charge of interfering with the police. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Timothy Cashen, 21, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Friday near Lake Avenue on charges of first-degree vehicle theft, which is a felony, and driving without a valid license. He was lodged at the state prison.

• A girl, 16, was cited at 2:45 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway on a charge of theft. She was released to her mother.

• A woman, 21, was arrested at 4 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway on a charge of theft. She was lodged at the state prison.

• A man, 20, was cited at 12:15 p.m. Friday near Willoughby Avenue on a charge of larceny. He was released.

• A woman reported at 2 p.m. Friday near Cordova Street the theft of a Sony camcorder worth $300 to $500.

Underage drinking:

• A boy, 17, was cited at 8 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway on charges of driving after drinking and failing to carry proof of insurance. He was released to a guardian.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
