Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 30-year-old Barbara Henry at 3:42 a.m. Sunday on a charge of drunken driving at outbound Egan Drive at Vanderbilt Hill Road. They impounded the vehicle she was driving.


• Police arrested a 32-year-old man at 4:33 p.m. Saturday on an assault charge in the 900 block of Third Street in Douglas. They also charged him with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. A 28-year-old man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, both were lodged at the state prison.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police arrested a 38-year-old woman on a charge of disorderly conduct at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Marine Park downtown. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a 27-year-old man on a charge of criminal mischief at 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Franklin Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

Vehicle accident:

• A 2004 Pontiac driven by a 56-year-old man sustained an estimated $600 in damage in an accident at 1:29 p.m. Saturday on North Franklin and Fourth streets. The car was reportedly struck by a 1986 Toyota, which was reported undamaged.

Traffic stops:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 11:30 p.m. Sunday on inbound Egan Drive near Whittier Street downtown after citing the driver, a 43-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

• Police cited a 17-year-old boy on charges of reckless endangerment, tobacco possession and underage drinking at 4:27 a.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Loop Road and Nancy Street. They impounded he vehicle he was driving. A 15-year-old girl riding in the vehicle was cited for underage drinking.

• Police impounded a 1985 Honda Prelude at 3:55 p.m. Saturday after citing the driver, a 15-year-old boy, on a charge of driving without a license at Riverside Drive near Riverwood drive in the Mendenhall Valley.
