Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts, lost/found items:

Surveyors at Stabler Point reported about 11:15 a.m. Monday that they had the following equipment stolen: a yellow fiberglass tripod and a red/white/silver range pole. The items were taken from a site near the Auke blasting area.

Police investigated the theft of fishing equipment from a boat in Harris Harbor. The incident was reported about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

A man, 33, reported shortly before 3 p.m. Monday that an 8-foot inflatable Bombardier skiff with a 7-horsepower outboard was stolen from near his boat moored at Harris Harbor.

A man, 41, reported about 7:30 p.m. Monday that a white, two-seater go cart was stolen from his back yard on Rivercourt Way some time during the past three months.

A man, 45, reported about 11 p.m. Monday a suspected theft by a boy, 17, at Fred Meyer in Seattle. The man is the guardian of the boy; both live in Juneau. The guardian realized when they returned from a trip that the boy seemed to be in possession of stolen property. The incident is under investigation.

A woman, 71, reported from the Arctic Bar about 1:30 a.m. today that $100 had been stolen. She named a suspect in the theft.

Hit-and-runs:

A man, 50, reported about 2:40 a.m. today that his 1990 Toyota Tercel had been damaged in a hit-and-run incident on Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. The responding officer estimated damage to the vehicle at $2,500. Investigation continues.

Fires:

Firefighters responded to an alarm at 2:55 a.m. today from the parking garage on Marine Way. The cause of the alarm was determined to be a broken sprinkler pipe, not an actual blaze.

Other:

Police conducted a traffic stop about 9:45 a.m. Monday on Egan Drive inbound near Twin Lakes. They arrested a man, 28, for driving without a license. His vehicle was impounded. He was released at the scene.
