ANCHORAGE - The driver accused of hitting a car and a horse-and-carriage in Anchorage is facing drunken driving, assault and criminal mischief charges.
Police told The Anchorage Daily News the 25-year-old woman pulled her pickup truck out of a hotel parking lot Saturday night, hit a car and then accelerated into the carriage, injuring a man and woman on the sidewalk. The man was treated at a hospital for bruises and the woman for broken ribs.
The horse and carriage driver were not injured.
