JUNEAU - Juneau businesspeople are invited to attend a seminar on increasing profitability through customer service Tuesday, April 22.
The seminar is part of the first annual Capital City Business Symposium, organized by the Juneau Small Business Development Center, the Juneau Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Juneau Gastineau Rotary Club.
A keynote address entitled "cultivating excellence in a changing world" will be followed by break-out sessions on managing employees and beginning and advanced customer service skills. Roundtable discussions on avoiding stress, exceeding expectations, overcoming biases and working with angry and difficult customers will follow lunch.
The seminar costs $40, and will be held at the Vocational Training and Resource Center on Hospital Drive in Juneau. Preregistration is required. Call Heather Holman or Jamie Letterman at 586-1737 to sign up.
