Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:


• At about 11:55 p.m. Sunday, a 44-year-old man was arrested on charges of assault in the 100 block of Franklin Street. He was lodged in the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old woman reported her residence was burglarized and vandalized in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.


• At about 10:45 a.m. Monday, a counterfeit $20 bill and a counterfeit $50 bill were turned in to an officer in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Missing person:

• At about 4:10 p.m. Sunday, police received a request to locate a 13-year-old boy in the Juneau area.


• At about 8:25 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old woman reported her purse and its contents valued at $535 were stolen in the 200 block of Front Street.

• At about 11:35 p.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old man reported a red cash bag containing $110 was stolen from his vehicle in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At about 10:35 a.m. Monday, a 40-year-old woman reported two diamond rings valued at $3,500 were stolen and $600 was fraudulently taken from her bank account in the 8600 block of Dudley Street.


• At about 10 a.m. Monday, a 55-year-old man reported his mailbox post was damaged in the 8400 block of Valley Boulevard.

Vehicle accidents:

• At about 1:15 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old woman was cited after her vehicle rear-ended another vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man on Tenth Street.

• At about 4:45 p.m. Sunday, a 25-year-old woman was cited for driving without a license and proof of insurance after the 1991 Ford she was driving was involved in an accident with a 2004 Pontiac driven by a 19-year-old woman in the 6300 block of Glacier Highway.
