JUNEAU - Rep. Bob Lynn is delaying reconsideration of his ethics bill that's intended to address possible conflicts of interest in arbitrating executive branch ethics complaints.
The bill would limit a governor's selection of members to the Personnel Board. It was defeated on the House floor Monday after two Democratic lawmakers pulled votes that would have cinched its passage. Those lawmakers have sought amendments that they believe will make the bill stronger.
Lynn asked that reconsideration be moved to Wednesday with some legislators arriving to Tuesday's floor session late.
