Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• At 9:12 p.m. Monday, a man reported that numerous parts were stolen off of his 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck while it was parked near Echo Cove.

• At 8:14 a.m. Wednesday, a poster for an upcoming animated movie featuring SpongeBob SquarePants was reported stolen Monday near Cinema Drive. The poster was valued at $10.


• A man reported at 10:47 p.m. Tuesday that the rear window of his 1998 Chevrolet Lumina was shattered by an unknown object near the Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $500.

Vehicle rifling:

• A woman reported at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday that her Toyota Corolla was among vehicles entered by unknown people Sunday night near Lawson Creek Road. Nothing was stolen from her car, she said.

• A woman reported at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday that a tan wool blanket and a gallon of antifreeze was stolen from her 1996 Chevrolet Blazer sometime within the last week, near Northland Street in the Mendenhall Valley.

• A man reported at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday that his unlocked Chevrolet truck was entered during the previous couple of days, and about 50 compact disc containing music, all in a black case, were stolen near Rainbow Row in the Mendenhall Valley. The loss was estimated at $750.

Vehicle Accidents:

• No one was injured in a two-car accident at 3:51 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway and Davis Avenue in the Lemon Creek area. A 1997 Ford Taurus allegedly struck a 1992 Toyota.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 4:57 p.m. Monday that his Buick Regal was stuck by an unknown vehicle sometime recently in the Juneau area. He reported a dent in the hood and a broken license plate holder.

• A man reported at 6:21 p.m. Monday that a red Jeep Cherokee struck a parked white Ford Escort and then struck a van, before leaving the scene without stopping. No damage was reported to the Escort. Damage to the van was unknown.

• An electrical outlet box and a water storm drain were damaged at 12:17 a.m. Tuesday near Fritz Cove Road by a 1995 Ford Escort, driven by a woman, 63. Damage to the car was estimated at $500. Damage to the outlet box was unknown. The drain reportedly was sheared off in the accident.

• Police cited a man, 22, on a charge of carrying no insurance at 8:56 a.m. Tuesday after officers responded to an accident on West Ninth Street. Three vehicles each sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Found property:

• A Nokia cellular telephone was turned in to police at 5:13 p.m. Monday after it was reportedly found near Distin Avenue.

• A man reported at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday that he had found a Toshiba computer printer earlier in the morning while near South Franklin Street.
