Maybe election should be held for governor

Posted: Wednesday, April 08, 2009

I would like to voice my strong support for our newly elected Sen. Mark Begich. Begich is doing a fine job. There is no need for a new election. The idea is simply ludicrous. Begich was elected fair and square.

Obviously there was some concern with Ted Stevens' ethics. Otherwise, the federal government would not have spent all of the time and money to question him. That is Stevens' problem.

I would support Gov. Sarah Palin's call for a new election only if she would include in that venue a "new" election for the governorship in light of "new evidence" of Palin's demonstrated inability to lead and demonstrated lack of qualifications for the position of governor of Alaska.
