Capital Cup Tennis Tournament - The Capital Cup Tennis tournament features tennis players from Whitehorse and Juneau in a friendly competition to claim the official perpetual cup. The event is open to skill levels from advanced beginners on up and will feature junior singles and ladies' and men's singles, along with mixed, ladies and men's doubles. Juneau Cheer Club offers elite snow removal - As long as there is snow, the Juneau Cheer Club will offer elite snow removal anywhere in Juneau from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays. Youth referees needed - Juneau Parks and Recreation is looking for referees for the upcoming youth basketball season. Zach Gordon Youth Center climbing wall - Climbing wall hours are 5-7 p.m. on Mondays, and 3:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The climbing wall can be used by people of all ages. Climbers age 20-younger climb free, while adults 21-older pay $5 to use the wall. Youth-adult interaction is encouraged, so an adult climbing with a youth pays no fee.
