Gravel is unloaded at Northland Services Wednesday for AGGPRO asphalt and cement projects. According to General Manager Mike Highley one gravel barge, carrying roughly 8,000 tons ofgravel material, has arrived at Northland every two weeks for the last month-and-a-half.Northland Services unloads roughly 52 freight barges and eight gravel barges per year. Northland has 23 employees in Juneau, including three full-time operators and one part-time operator.
