Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Jeffrey Malley, 27, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday at the Mendenhall Hall for driving while intoxicated and additionally charged with refusal to take a breath test. He was released to his parents from the police department.


A man was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley for third-degree felony domestic violence assault and misconduct involving weapons. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. His victim was a woman, 26. The responding officer also spoke to two women, both 24, one man, 29, and one man, 28, at the scene. Alcohol was involved in the incident.


A woman (age unknown) reported from the Mendenhall Mall shortly after 9 p.m. Friday a man had verbally threatened her and he was armed with a foot-long knife. The responding officer contacted the intoxicated suspect, 39, and issued a verbal warning for his behavior. The knife was taken by the officer and placed into safekeeping at the Juneau Police Department.
