Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 23-year-old Erin McLean on a charge of drunken driving at 9:52 p.m. Thursday near Aurora Harbor downtown. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Assault:

• Police arrested a 24-year-old woman on a charge of assault at 1:12 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Front Street downtown. They lodged her at the state prison.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police cited a 29-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct at 2:14 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Franklin Street downtown.

Trespassing:

• Police arrested a 67-year-old man on a trespassing charge at 3:57 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Seventh Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

Burglary:

• A 57-year-old man reported at 6:28 p.m. Friday that his home in the 3000 block of Tongass Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley was burglarized.

• A 37-year-old man reported at 9:03 p.m. Friday that $200 cash was taken in a burglary at his home in the 2500 block of Teslin Street in the valley.

Theft:

• A wallet was reported stolen at 12:58 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked vehicle parked on Willoughby Avenue downtown. It held $20.

• Change totaling $6 was reported stolen at 3:47 p.m. Thursday from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Delta Drive in the valley.

• A dashboard console, compact-disc player and ignition was reported stolen at 4:37 p.m. Thursday from a vehicle in a parking garage near Marine Way downtown.

• A wallet was reported stolen at 11:54 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Egan Drive downtown. It held $40 and identification.

• A backpack was reported stolen at 8:21 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Egan Drive. It held three folk festival sweatshirts and a digital camera.

• A passport, social security card and medication were reported stolen at 2:07 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of University Drive.

• A wallet containing $300 was reported stolen at 7:30 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of West 12th Street downtown.

• A wagon-style cart valued at $120 was reported stolen at 10:03 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of South Franklin.

• Pallets were reported stolen at 10:54 p.m. Friday in the 8400 block of Airport Boulevard.

Shoplifting:

• Police cited a 47-year-old man on a larceny charge in the 2200 block of Trout Street near the airport.

Fire:

• Capital City Fire and Rescue crews reported that no one was injured in a fire in the kitchen of the Prospector Hotel, reported at 10:46 p.m. Thursday. Twenty firefighters put out the blaze in five to 10 minutes. Investigators determined a griddle was left on and unattended grease buildup ignited. The hotel was evacuated for about an hour. The kitchen remained closed pending fire and health inspections.

Traffic stop:

• Police cited a 23-year-old man on a charge of driving without a valid license at 8:20 a.m. Friday on Douglas Highway. They impounded the 2001 Subaru he was driving.

• Police cited an 18-year-old man on a charge o driving without a license at 12:44 p.m. Friday at Glacier Highway and Central Avenue in the Lemon Creek area. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

• Police cited a 41-year-old woman on a charge of driving without a license at 1:35 p.m. Friday at Northway Point on Egan Drive. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

• Police cited an 18-year-old man on a charge of driving without a license at 10:39 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Vehicle accidents:

• A two-vehicle accident was reported at 12:28 p.m. Friday on the Douglas bridge. A Subaru driven by a 34-year-old man sustained an estimated $2,600 in damage. No damage estimate was available for a Cadillac driven by a 48-year-old man.

• A two vehicle accident was reported at 1:42 p.m. Friday on Egan Drive near Yandukin Drive. A 1991 Ford Explorer was driven by a 31-year-old woman. A 2003 Chevrolet truck was driven by a 19-year-old woman. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to each vehicle.

• Police cited a 16-year-old boy on charges of negligent driving and violation of provisional license after an accident at 11:10 a.m. Saturday at Sunshine Cove. In the accident, a 1994 Ford Explorer sustained an estimated $3,500 in damage.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited an 18-year-old man on charges of underage drinking and underage tobacco possession at 3:28 a.m. Friday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

• Police cited a 20-year-old man on a charge of underage drinking at 11:49 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Trout Street.

• Police cited a 19-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy at 2:41 a.m. Saturday on charges of underage drinking in the 300 block of Distin Avenue.
