JUNEAU - The Juneau School District will hold a public forum at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the library of Thunder Mountain High School to discuss the possibility of flipping elementary and high school start times.
The change is intended to accommodate teenagers, whom many studies have shown are biologically wired to stay up later at night and wake up later than younger children and adults. Some experts believe starting school later can improve high school students' performance.
