Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

John Curtner, 52, was arrested for drunken driving at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday near Loop Road and Egan Drive. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Bail was set at $1,000 cash.


Police arrested a 29-year-old man for domestic violence assault at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday in the Mendenhall Valley area. He was lodged at the state prison.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A man reported at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday from Glacier Highway that a Honda was keyed while parked in a parking lot.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a man, 18, for failure to yield following a two-vehicle accident at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday near Egan Drive and 10th Street. A red 1998 Dodge TK, driven by the man, struck a white 1999 Subaru Forester, driven by a woman, 42. The Subaru sustained $1,000 in damage while the Dodge sustained none.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for vandalism to the inside of the Gastineau Elementary School. Police said on Feb. 19, it was reported that items were torn from the wall, items from the lost and found were strewn about and some items were stuffed into toilets. Damage was estimated at $300.
